When you think snow, you think igloo right? Well finally we now have our own igloo bar in town, and it’s amazing. Le Petit Danois have had a professional team of igloo builders in to contrast this masterpiece for the World Championships, but word has it we all love the igloo so much that it’s going to stay open for quite some time after. The igloo bar is outside Le Petit Danois, its open from 3.30-7.30pm everyday and Karen plays live acoustic music from 5-7pm everyday other than Saturday.
Outside the igloo you’ll find friendly staff in Eskimo style hats to feed you fresh hot soup and crepes, inside the igloo there’s vin chaud, xante, and lots of hot drinks to satisfy, as well as your usual bar drinks. It’s a great change from the bars o sit in an igloo with your mates over a hot cup of vin chaud or a beer and have a chat to the lovely music of Karen. Watch this space though because although it’s nicely chilled and relaxed in there now, I’m assured there will be some igloo parties, so keep an eye out in the what’s on page for more details in the weeks to come.
